Day 7 - Dec 14 2011

Day 7 - Still doing good on food and water, not as hungry at night though I have fought some cravings. Probably does not help that my daughter made chocolate chip cookies, but this is life I have to learn to pass on things sometimes.

Did a bunch of shopping including (thanks to 30% off at Kohl's) buying some new yoga pants. I love them, they are super comfy, and they stretch and shrink so I can wear them comfortably while losing weight. I am not buying any jeans until I am close to goal weight. 

I did not work out, but I think every other day will be best still this week, I am not sore like I was on Sunday which is good but I am easing myself into it. I know I will be "Biggest Losering" it with double workouts in a couple of weeks.

Bought food for me and the kids, well my son. He is happy with some frozen fish prepared different ways that can be heated up in the oven and then served with rice or potatoes. That makes life easy for me. My girl, well she doesn't eat fish, or red meat and does not want anything that involves work...so she is eating salad or making her own food right now. She is certainly old enough.

Baked my chicken for the next few days, will portion it out tomorrow, it really helps having it all ready to grab and go in the fridge. I also have some really good turkey burgers that are great to cook up and split for meals. Add some fresh mushrooms that I will probably saute with seasonings and just a teeny bit of olive oil and I will have tasty food for most of the week.

Only downside is that I did pass on treat night with my parents. We have developed the habit in the last year of going to Culver's an ice cream place on Tuesday nights after their dance class. But yesterday I passed, I could have simply gone and watched them eat but thought that would not be a good idea. Plus I was tired from working out and just wanted to chill. I think I will try to convince them to come here after dancing, we have treats for my dad and food if they need it.
