Today started well, I did my Biggest Loser Weightloss Yoga DVD with the always yummy Bob Harper. It was tough, very tough, and I was very happy when he said "this is the last move". I knew I could make it to the end that way. Now that I have gone all the way through I will know what to look for so I won't be so desperate for it to end. I pulled a small muscle in my back a bit, but I think it will be fine in another day or so.
I am a bit nervous about my weekly weigh in tomorrow, I always want to see a 2lb loss or more. For some reason, even with the exercise and good eating this week I am worried I won't have any weight loss. We will see!
I am feeling good enough that I think I am going to start doubling up the workouts. Doing the Yoga and Bootcamp in the morning (alternating days) and my walking at night. That seems to work well for me. Even the walking is getting easier, I have only been doing 2 of the 3 miles on the DVD. But last night I was surprised to feel I could have gone a bit longer. Maybe by the end of this week I will be up to the full 3 mile workout.
Made dinner for the kids and my dad tonight. Ate my salad and baked chicken while they had pasta with chicken sausage and garlic bread. Luckily, this is one meal I really don't miss out on. I have not been a big fan of red sauce since my second pregnancy (it was THE food that made me sick). So it was easy to make everything for them and to sit having a nice dinner together.
My dad cracks me up, he was complaining about how my mother does not keep any food in the house for him to eat, just her "sticks and twigs". He sounded just like the kids when they complain about me. Poor guy, I think he will be having the kids go out with him a bunch in the next few months.
